1. Who we are

The service is operated by Manai s.r.o., Slovakia. Electric Rooster is a brand operated by Manai s.r.o.

2. What data may be processed

Depending on the service you use, we may process:

• account information, such as your email address;
• authentication and session information;
• information needed to operate the website or service, including information you submit through contact or newsletter forms;
• files that you choose to upload;
• identifiers for third-party accounts that you choose to connect;
• activity data, GPS or location routes, activity type, and timestamps; and
• technical and security logs, such as device, browser, network, error, and access information.

Where a service supports connected fitness providers, this data is processed only after you choose to connect or import it and grant the required authorization. The exact data processed depends on the feature you request and the permissions you grant.

3. Why we process data

We process personal data as necessary to provide requested website or application functionality, authenticate users, import and display user activity data, respond to communications, maintain security and prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, and comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Depending on the context, processing may be based on performing a service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Third-party services

Our services may integrate with third-party providers only when you explicitly choose to connect them. Depending on the features offered, these may include Garmin, Google, Apple, Strava, or other supported fitness providers. Listing a provider here does not mean that an integration is currently available.

Third-party providers process information under their own privacy policies. The current website also uses EmailJS to deliver contact-form submissions and a Google Apps Script endpoint to process newsletter sign-ups. We may use other service providers or processors where necessary to host, maintain, secure, or operate a service.

5. GPS and location data

Route or location history may be processed when you choose to import activity data or connect a third-party fitness account. Where applicable, it is used to provide mapping and activity-visualization features.

This data is not intended to be publicly exposed by default. Where accounts are used, access to imported route data is associated with the relevant user account. You should consider the sensitivity of routes that may reveal places such as your home or workplace before importing or sharing them.

6. Data sharing and sale

Manai s.r.o. does not sell users' personal data. We may share data only with service providers or processors where necessary to operate, host, maintain, or secure the service, or where disclosure is required by law. We do not authorize service providers to use personal data for their own unrelated purposes.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the relevant service, meet legal obligations, maintain security, or support legitimate operational needs. Depending on the service, imported raw files may be processed transiently and may not be retained after processing is complete. Users may request deletion where applicable.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and other applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your personal data; object to processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, email marek.nagy@electricrooster.net. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and service. No system or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Cookies and authentication

The current public Electric Rooster website does not intentionally set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. If a future service provides user accounts, it may use cookies or similar storage that are essential for authentication, session management, security, and requested functionality. We will update this policy or provide additional notice if our use of cookies materially changes.

11. Children's privacy

Our services are not intentionally directed to children below the applicable minimum age unless a specific service clearly states otherwise. If you believe a child has provided personal data inappropriately, please contact us.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, practices, or legal obligations. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect.
